David Newell is a Columbus-based comedy magician and variety performer whose work blends unhinged humor, sleight-of-hand, and a flair for the marvelously absurd. With over a decade of experience performing coast to coast, David has become known for his charasmatic stage presence, quick wit, and ability to make audiences laugh just as hard as they’re amazed.

David has brought his signature blend of magic and comedy to venues like the Chicago Magic Lounge, Brooklyn's The Magic Den, and the BorderLight Fringe Festival. He’s a resident performer at the world-famous P3 Magic Theater, where he regularly leaves audiences wondering whether they just saw a magic show or narrowly avoided a mild psychological event.

He is also one half of David & Brayden, a critically acclaimed comedy-magic duo known for their wild energy, unexpected stunts, and undeniable onstage chemistry. Together, they tour nationally and produce Weird Stuff in a Normal Room, a traveling pop-up show blending magic, comedy, and variety in unconventional venues like coffee shops, bars, and bookstores. Every show is one night only, and no two are alike.
